Here's a brief narrative:
Just 12 1/2 miles from Tropicana Field, aka
The Pit, the home of the Tampa Bay Rays. We're small, just 8 studio efficiencies,
so you won't feel crowded even during play off's and hopefully the World Series!
Each of our apartments has it's own private bath, and a full kitchen, though
we do provide breakfast with your room. Corporate visitor? We have fax services,
and wifi internet access. We appreciate your concerns in entertaining clients
and guests for any big event. So whether it's the ALDS, ALCS or World Series,
Snug Harbor Inn is your Playoff headquarters. Outback Bowl ans are welcome
here So are Rutgers and Central Florida!
Snug Harbor Inn is a waterfront bed and breakfast located
just 1/2 mile north of historic John's Pass in beautiful Madeira Beach, Florida.
John's Pass is a natural opening in the barrier island, blown there during
a hurricane in 1848. Many people make the mistake of referring to St. John's
Pass. Trust, us Old John was a real person, but he was no saint! Most historians
trace the pass back to John LeVeque, who was engaged in the import/export
business, which is a polite way of saying he was a pirate! Today John's Pass
is the home of John's Pass Village, Pinellas county's most popular visitor
attraction. This scenic village with its nautical heritage and waterfront
location offers an assortment of shops, boutiques, restaurants, water sports
and entertainment. Located near Snug Harbor Inn, it is renowned throughout
the Tampa Bay Area as a site for good crafts and artisans, as well as casually
comfortable eateries. Weekends, the Village puts its best fin forward with
street shows that include plenty of musical entertainment. From its boardwalk
and marina, you can enjoy a free dolphin watch or take off aboard small cruise
ships and fishing charters. There are annual events including the Seafood
festival, (formerly the Grouper fest) and John Le Veque pirate days. Snug
Harbor is also convenient to most of the reasons people visit Florida. We're
only thirty seconds from the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world.
We have docks available for guests travelling with their boats. If you don't
have a boat, there's still plenty to do, many folks enjoy fishing right off
of our boat slips, right in the Snug Harbor inlet of Boca Ciega Bay. (from
which we take our name) Snug Harbor is more than just a bed and breakfast.
Snug Harbor Inn is also a family resort. Snug Harbor Inn is a highly rated
Madeira Beach motel, and a great waterfront vacation rental property. All
eight of our beach apartments are studio efficiencies, available by the week,
season, or when available, by the night. Our affordable rates provide exceptional
value. Our Madeira Beach resort is conveniently located for day trips to Bush
Gardens, Sea World, Disney World, Universal Studios, Fantasy of Flight, Cape
Kennedy, Cypress Gardens, and other Central Florida attractions. Snug Harbor
is also convenient to many fine Florida Golf courses. Tennis Courts abound
in the area, and Snug Harbor is close to plenty of restaurants, ranging from
fine dining to relaxed informality. Most of our guests say they find our little
waterfront vacation spot very relaxing and home-like. Snug Harbor Inn is pet-friendly,
and we have a fenced in dog yard so that Fido will feel right at home as well!
